The Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation (MSHEF) is proud to be an official charity partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon—celebrating the 50th anniversary of the five-borough marathon.

 

Through this partnership, ten incredible Team MSHEF runners will represent our foundation during their 26.2-mile journey, raising awareness and funds to provide Holocaust education grants to teachers nationwide.

Team Runners will Receive:

Guaranteed spot in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon

Official New Balance MSHEF team running shirt and swag

A personal online fundraising page and promotion via our communication channels

Team MSHEF Runner Responsibilities

Raising a minimum of $3,500 by October 31, 2026

Paying the NYRR member fee and the TCS New York City Marathon registration fee

Publicizing your participation via email and social media to your network, including hashtags #MSHEFoundation #MSHEF #JFTL2026 #TCSNYCMarathon

All TCS New York City Marathon runners are required to sign a Runner’s Agreement Form acknowledging the fundraising requirement and deadline.

Running Independently But Still Want to Support?

TCS New York City Marathon participants can still support our foundation’s Holocaust education programs if they don’t secure a team bib. If you run independently, you can create a page and fundraise for MSHEF. Contact us for more information.
